The payment of wages by quitt to employees is only possible to a Swiss bank account, because only domestic transfers can be processed automatically by our bank as a collective booking.
In the case of payments to foreign bank accounts, problems can also arise with incomplete account details, which then lead to additional work and costs for quitt. Furthermore, additional bank charges can be incurred by the recipient abroad. Foreign currency losses also frequently occur if the currency of the destination account is not Swiss francs. In the interest of all our customers, we would like to process wage payments in a cost-efficient manner and avoid the aforementioned additional expenses.
We therefore ask for your understanding that, for these reasons, we can only make wage payments to Swiss bank accounts and in Swiss francs. However, it is of course possible for you as an employer to transfer the wage payment to your employees to a foreign recipient account yourself and not have it processed via quitt.
To do this, set the payment method to "Direct" in your customer area.
